This file provides the ArchiMate model of the eGovERA Tax Reference Architecture. The eGovERA Tax Reference Architecture has been developed in the context of the Interoperability Architecture Solutions initiative, extending the Governance and Enterprise Reference Architecture (eGovERA) to the taxation domain. It is a domain-specific reference architecture focused on the interoperability of digital public services in the tax sector, addressing cross-border and cross-sector interactions between tax administrations, other public administrations, and taxation-related stakeholders. It is composed of the architecture building blocks needed to support tax data exchange, tax service provision, and tax-related governance across Member States. It is based on the Service Oriented Architecture style and uses ArchiMate as a modelling notation. The eGovERA Tax Reference Architecture implements the New European Interoperability Framework (EIF) and aligns with relevant EU taxation cooperation frameworks, such as the Directive on Administrative Cooperation (DAC) and VAT information exchange mechanisms (VIES).
